Sophie came home from the hospital today. We are so excited and feel blessed to have her home with us. Carter and Audrey are so excited and love their baby sister. It is so nice to have us all home together.

Sophie is doing great. She is getting stronger every day. She now weighs 4lbs 15 oz and is 18 1/2 inches long. She is so stinkin' cute and we can't wait to bring her home as soon as she figures out this eating thing.

Sophie Coleen - 1 Week Old

Sophie is doing great. She has gained a few ounces and is almost back to her birth weight. She is off of all oxygen and is now just working on eating with a bottle. We are so glad she is doing so well. Pretty soon she will get to come home. Carter and Audrey can hardly wait.

SOPHIE 6 DAYS OLD!!!

Sophie is doing so good. She is out of the incuabator and can wear cute little preemie clothes. She ate a little more for us today out of a bottle and is tolerating her feedings well. So......she will get to come home as soon as she is eating consistently. She has a little fiesty attitude, and you can already tell she is daddy's little girl. Thanks for all of the love, support, and prayers.

4 DAYS OLD!!!!!

Sophie is finally waking up when it is time to eat. Isn't she so stinkin' cute???

Sophie Coleen decided to join our family just a little more than 6 weeks early on November 7, 2009. She is doing great and we are so happy. She had a tube in her lungs to help her breathe for the first 12 hours, but she is already down to a little nasal cannula and only needs 2 liters of oxygen to keep her going. We are so happy with how she is doing. She has a little feeding tube on the right side of her nose and is tolerating her feedings really well. We are so thankful for fantastic doctors and nurses who got our sweet little girl here safely and that are taking such good care of her now.
